PM interacts with medal winners at 2018 Summer Youth Olympics

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 21, 2018, met and felicitated the medal winners at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics held in Argentina. He urged them to remain focussed and work harder to achieve their goal of reaching the podium in the coming Olympics.

The Prime Minister assured the athletes that the Government would provide them adequate support and facilities. He said that the young athletes should inspire youngsters in their schools and villages to take up sports. He also  complimented the coaches of the medal winners for their contribution in raising India’s profile on the global stage, according to a PIB release.
