Patna : A PIL was filed in Patna High Court on April 7, 2017, by a lawyer Mani Bhushan seeking a CBI probe into the soil scam. Bihar Environment and Forest Minister Tej Pratap Yadav and Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh have been made parties in the PIL. The petitioner has claimed that Patna zoo purchased the land from a mall site and later claimed that the exercise was undertaken for the beautification of the zoo. The petitioner also alleged that the Rs 90 lakh used to buy the soil was from the corpus of Bihar Wildlife Conservation Fund. Tej Pratap is son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad.
