Photographer dies in road mishap at Hajipur

Hajipur : Aditya Kumar Singh alias Manjan, 25, photographer at Hajipur bureau of a Patna based Hindi daily, died on December 17 early morning after a four-wheeler dashed him at Ekara Gumti under Hajipur Sadar police station, where he had gone to cover an accident. He was a native of village Khoksa Bujurg under Desri Police station in Vaishali district and was third son of Ram Naresh Prasad Singh. The incident took place on Hajipur – Muzaffarpur road on NH 77. The administration announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the deceased besides Rs 20,000 for his last rites. Several journalists have mourned Manjan.
