Saharsa : Unidentified bike borne criminals shot at and seriously injured a Class IV employee of Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Narayan Sharma near Dibari canal just before road leading to village Bharauli under Sonbersa Kutchery police outpost (OP) in Saharsa district on August 20, 2018, afternoon, when he was coming to Saharsa on his bicycle.
An injured Sharma was lying on the roadside after the incident. Police rushed injured Narayan Sharma to Sadar Hospital, Saharsa, where the doctor referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) after initial treatment. An SI of Sonbersa Kutchery OP Uday Shankar Pathak said that police found Sharma lying injured on the road and police rushed him to Sadar Hospital, Saharsa.
Sharma is the resident of Ward Number 26, Saharsa, under Sadar police station. A police team led by SHO, Sonbersa Kutchery OP is conducting raids to nab the criminals. Sharma is deputed at Bharauli water tower of PHED. Sharma said he had a heated exchange with one Pawan Singh of Bharauli on August 20 over the issue of water supply.
