Patna Zoo opened to public after 49 days

Patna :  Patna Zoo, Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, which was closed on December 25, 2019, following outbreak of Bird Flu ( H5N1 Avian Influenza), was opened to the public at 1 pm on February 12, 2019, after a gap of 49 days. The Zoo has been re-opened following clearance from a committee constituted by Director, Animal Husbandry, Bihar Government, according to Director, Patna Zoo. Earlier, samples sent to a national lab were found negative.
