Muzaffarpur : Bihar Animal and Fishery Resources Department Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras on September 23, 2018, launched ‘Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (PMJAY) in Muzaffarpur district.
There are 5,19,629 beneficiaries of the scheme in Muzaffarpur district selected on the basis of socio-economic criteria based on 2011 census. Sixteen beneficiaries were given Golden Card on the occasion.
Muzaffarpur MP Ajay Nishad, Kurhni MLA Kedar Gupta, Paroo MLA Ashok Singh, Muzaffarpur DM Mohd Sohail, Mayor Suresh Kumar, District Board Chairperson Indira Devi, and officials of Health Department were also present on the occasion.
