Panchayat Secretary shot dead in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi:  Two bike borne criminals shot dead Satya Narain Mahto, 50, Panchayat Secretary, Rajwara Panchayat, near Narga Bazar under Parihar police station in Sitamarhi district on December 11, 2017.

Satya Narain was going to Parihar block headquarters from his native village Musharnia under Sonbarsa block in Sitamarhi district on his bike when the armed criminals coming from opposite direction fired three shots from point blank range on him. Satya Narain fell down from his bike and died on the spot. Police are clueless about the reasons behind his murder. Satya Narain was posted in Rajwara Panchayat. None has been arrested in this connection so far.
