Patna : Pakistan were 144/2 after 44 overs in their second innings at stumps on day two of the second cricket test against Australia at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE, on October 17, 2018, with Azhar Ali batting on 54 with 3 fours and Haris Sohail batting on 17. Opener Fakhar Zaman scored 66 in 83 ball with 7 fours while Mohammad Hafeez was out for 6 to fast bowler Mitchell Starc. Pakistan lead by 281 runs.
Earlier, Australia were all out for only 145 in their first innings after lunch on day2 with opener Aaron Finch scoring 39 and Marnus Labuschagne scoring 25 ( run out). Captain Tim Paine was out for 3.
Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Abbas took 5/33 while spinner Bilal Asif took 3/23. Pakistan had scored 282 in their first innings.
