Patna : Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Pakistan were 119/6 after 32 overs against India in their Asia Cup ODI match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, on September 19, 2018, riding on a 82 run partnership between Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik.
Babar Azam fell to Kuldeep Yadav after scoring 47 in 62 ball with 6 fours while Shoaib Malik was run out for 43 in 63 ball with a four and a six. Pakistan captain and wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed was out for 6 to Kedar Jadhav. Asif Ali also fell to Kedar Jadhav for 9.
Earlier, Pakistan made a disastrous start to their innings losing their first two wickets for only 3 runs with Bhuvaneshwar Kumar accounting for both the openers Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman.
