Over 35 residents of Nariar in Saharsa worked in Delhi factory, factory owner hails from same village

Saharsa : Over 35 residents of village Nariar in Saharsa District in North Bihar were working at Delhi’s Anaj Mand, Rani Jhansi Road, factory where 43 persons died after a massive fire broke out on December 8, 2019, early morning, in a four-storey factory building housing illegal manufacturing units.The family members of Nariar residents working in the factory are completely in dark about their whereabouts due to lack of any official information about them. They are unable to contact their wards.

Zubair, the owner of the factory where these villagers were working, is also a resident of village Nariar. Zubair produced jackets at his factory. No family member of Zubair is present at his Nariar house. Anxiety is writ large on the face of the family member of those working at the Delhi factory. Some villagers have left for Delhi.
