Patna : Fourth seed Reilly Opelka, 22, USA, beat unseeded Yoshihito Nishioka, 24, Japan, in a three-set encounter in final to  win the Delay Beach Open, an ATP Tour 250 series event played on hard  courts at Delay Beach, Florida, USA, singles title on February 23, 2020, late night. Opelka beat Nishioka 7-5, 6-7, 6-2 in 2hr 9 minutes in final to win his second ATP Tour title.

Opelka hammered 27 Aces in the match to just 3 by Nishioka. The American won 4 break points to 1 by the Japanese. He won 3 games in a row to 2 by Nishioka. The American, in all, won 108 points to 96 by the Japanese. He won 71 service points to 69 by Nishioka. Opelka though committed 3 double faults in the match to 1 by the Japanese, who has jumped to World No 48 after reaching the final at Delay Beach Open.

Opelka had defeated second seed Milos Raonic, 29, Candaa, 4-6, 7-6, 6-3 in semi-finals on February 22, 2020, while Nishioka had defeated Ugo Humbert, 22, France, in SFs in three-sets.
