Motihari ;  One Guddu Yadav was shot dead  and a shop-keeper Rajkishor Pandey was shot at and injured by three unidentified motorcycle borne criminals near village Chhapra  on Shekhpurwa -Pakaridayal  road under Pakaridayal  police station (PS) in East Champaran District in North Bihar on November 8, 2021, late nigh.

Some villagers chased the criminals after the shootout but they escaped in the darkness leaving behind their bike,  which was later
seized by police. The criminals are yet to be arrested.  East Champaran SP  Navin Kumar Jha  said police were investigating this case.

Shop-keeper Rajkishor Pandey  has sustained bullet injuries and was rushed to a private nursing home at Motihar, headquarters of East Champaran District. According to  RajKishor Pandey,he was returning home at Chhapra village from  his shop at Shekhpurwa on his bike when he saw that  one person was being stabbed by two persons and he was alarmed . The criminals then opened fire in which  one  person was killed on the spot and he received bullet injuries in stomach. The deceased has been identified as Guddu Yadav of Kotawa.
