Ara : One Bihari Gond died while his wife and four children fell ill allegedly after taking spurious tea at village Amrayi Nawada under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district on April 23, 2019. The persons falling were admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
SHO, Bihia police station, said that the tea was prepared in the family of Bihari Gond at village Amrayi Nawada on April 23, 2019, morning, but inadvertently pesticide was poured into the tea. When the family members took the tea, all of them fell ill, the SHO said. The villagers rushed them to Ara Sadar Hospital but Bihari Gond succumbed on way to hospital while his wife Sushila Devi and his four children are struggling for life at Ara Sadar Hospital. Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
