Patna: A police team arrested notorious gangster Ranjit Don from Kolkata on Sunday. The police team has left Kolkata with Ranjit and might reach Patna late on Sunday night. Ranjit was evading arrest in connection with kidnapping of two Delhi based traders and siblings : Suresh Sharma and Kapil Sharma, from Patna Airport after they landed here on October 21. However, Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj denied Ranjit’ had been arrested and attempts to contact Lakhisarai SP Ashok Kumar proved futile despite repeated attempts.
