Ara : One person was killed and two others injured one of them seriously in two separate road accidents in Bhojpur district on April 14, 2017, when they were going to have a dip in river Ganga. Police brought the body of the deceased to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. The doctor at the hospital referred the seriously injured person to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in a precarious condition.
One Jitendra Kumar Singh, 30, of Bhel Dumara was crushed to death near Sinha when he was going to take bath in river Ganga on April 14. Later, police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
In another incident, two motorcycle born youth : Deepak Singh, 26, son of Heera Singh, and his friend Avinash Kumar, 23, son of Chandeshwar Singh, were injured when their motorcycle collided head-on with a speeding three – wheeler near Shobhi Dumara on Ara – Salempur main road on April 14 when they were going to take a dip in river Ganga at Sinha. The injured were admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital. The doctor at the hospital later referred Deepak Singh to Patna Medical College and Hospital in a precarious condition.
