Aurangabad: One person was killed while four members of a family sustained serious injury in a separate accidents on September 6 night at Aurangabad.
Satish Kumar, 45, a resident of Srikrishnanagar colony crushed to death by a speeding pick up van at Jasoiya mor under Town police station, Aurangabad. After the incident locals blockade the National Highway-2 for an hour demanding adequate compensation to the family of the deceased. On getting information, Sadar Block Development Officer (BDO) AK Prince rushed to spot and persuaded the locals to lift the blockade. The BDO promised to provide adequate compensation to deceased’s family.
In another incident, four members of a family sustained major injury when a car carrying them was dashed by a speeding truck near Jasoiya under the same police station. Critically injured Dr RS Gupta and his wife Meera Rani, daughter Richa Gupta and Rishu Raj were admitted to Aurangabad sadar hospital where the doctors referred to better medical institution for better medicare. Police sources said the incident occurred when the family was on way to his Sahpur colony residence. As their car reached near Jasoiiya, a speeding truck dashed against it.
