One killed, 2 injured in Bhojpur accident

Ara : A youth was killed while two others were injured when a speeding truck collided head-on with their motorcycle near Brahmbaba temple at Ratnadh mor under Garhani police station in Bhojpur district on May 29, 2018.

Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased was identified as Nitish Kumar, son of Kamlesh Mahto of Shivpur under Garhani police station.

SHO, Garhani police station, said that Nitish Kumar had to meet his relatives at village Kori under Sandesh police station and so he along with his friends Priyanshu, 17, son of Bharat Bhushan Sharma, and Rohit, 13, son of Ramesh Sharma took off for Kori on their motorcycle. When they reached near Brahmbaba temple at village Ratnadh, a speeding truck collided head-on with the bike injuring all the three bike riders.

Police admitted them to the Garhani Primary Health Centre but the doctors referred them to Ara Sadar Hospital after first aid. Nitish Kumar succumbed to his injuries on way to Ara Sadar Hospital.
