Patna : New Zealand were 301/7 in their second innings in 109 overs after tea on 4th day of the second cricket test against Pakistan at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, on November 27, 2018, riding on an unbeaten 77 with 7 fours and a six by Henry Nicholls and 82 by Ross Taylor. Neil Wagner was batting on 4. New Zealand trail b y 27 runs.
Resuming at their overnight score of 131/2, New Zealand lost their wicket when opener Tom Latham fell to fast bowler Hasan Ali for 50 when the score was 146. Latham added 80 run s with Taylor for the third wicket. Taylor fell to spinner Bilal Asif for 82 with 7 fours and a six. Wicketkeeper W J Watling scored 27 while Colin de Grandhomme made 14. Ish Sodhi was out for 4.
For Pakistan, spinner Yasir Shah has taken 4/137 in NewZealand second innings taking his tally to 12 wickets in the match. He had taken 8/41 in New Zealand first innings. Hasan Ali has taken 2/39 while Bilal Asif has taken 1/61.
