Notorious criminal Nayeem demands Rs 10 lakh from Ara trader

Ara : A notorious criminal Nayeem Mian has demanded Rs 10 lakh from the owner of Geeta Electronics at Jail Road locality under Town police station as `Rangdari’ ( extortion amount).

After the extortion call, the owner of the Geeta Electronics met Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar and informed him about the extortion call made to him. Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar said he has taken the matter seriously and Nayeem Mian will be arrested at the earliest.

Nayeem Mian is brother of dreaded criminal Chand Mian, who had been chargesheeted in the Ara Civil Court bomb blast case. Both the brothers are also named accused in the murder of a businessman Krishna Kumar Singh alias Kumar Ji who was killed on July 2, 2017, at Ara. Chand Mian is languishing in the Ara jail while Nayeem Mian in still absconding.
