Patna : Police are yet to make any breakthrough yet in the loot of Rs 52 lakh of LIC from cash van on Tazpur road, Samastipur in North Bihar, on August 30, 2018, afternoon. The criminals had also shot dead the guard when he resisted them. The incident took place in front of the LIC office gate on Tazpur road, Samastipur. The cash was to be deposited into an Axis Bank branch. The arrest figure as of now stands at zero.
SP, Samastipur, Deepak Ranjan, on August 31, 2018, evening, said that police were close to zeroing in on the criminals as they have gained some important leads in the case. The SP also informed that police had sealed all the exit points in the district to nab the crimnals at the earliest.
