Bagaha : A gang of thieves stole Rs 1.70 lakh cash and ornaments worth Rs 1.50 lakh from the house of Anisur Rahman located near Bagaha town police station in Bagaha police district recently after entering the house by scaling the roof as the main door was closed.
Sources said that Rahman with his family members had left the house on December 25, 2018, and gone to meet one of his relatives. Rahman returned to his house on December 30 and found that the thieves had stolen cash and jewellery. Rahman has lodged a case with Bagaha town police station in this connection. SHO, Bagaha town police station, Mohammad Ayub Khan on December 31 said that police were investigating the case.
