Patna : Nityanand Rai, MP, took over as the president of Bihar unit of BJP from Mangal Pandey, MLC, on December 2. Rai was welcomed at BJP office by senior party leaders including former deputy chief  minister Sushil Kumar Modi, leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Prem Kumar, union minister of state Giriraj Singh, and Ashwini Kumar Chaubey, MP, who wished him happy days ahead. Rai was received at airport on his arrival from New Delhi by party workers who took him to BJP office in a procession. He garlanded the statue of Jayaprakash Narayn aty Income Tax  circle.
