Patna : An NIT Patna (NITP) team secured 7th rank at Smart India Hackathon 2018 and won Rs 50,000 cash prize recently. Smart India Hackathon, a two-day programme, was organized by the joint initiative of the HRD Ministry and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The NITP team named “Inquisitive Coders” participated at the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon held at C V Raman College of Engineering(CVRCE), Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, where each team did 36 hours of non-stop coding to bring digital solution to different problems. The “Inquisitive Coders” also made an Android app on “Helping youth make an informed decision on the carrier choices in the vocational sector.”
Purushottam Rawat and Prashant Shahib are mentors of the NITP team. Shivam Kumar, Dimpal Saluja, Suraj Vikash, Rajat Vallabh, Monu Goyal, and Rishabh Varshney were the members of the team. The Dean Student Welfare, NITP, Prof Prakash Chandra has congratulated the Inquisitive Coders’ for their grand success.
