Patna : Bihar CM Nitish Kumar will expand his Cabinet on June 2, 2019. Bihar Governor Lalji Tandon will administer oath of office and secrecy to the new members of the State Cabinet at 11.30 am on June 2 at Raj Bhavan.

Nitish is likely to add five new members to his cabinet. Former Minister Narendra Narayan Yadav, Sanjay Jha, Ashok Chaudhary, Ranju Geeta, and Neeraj Kumar are likely to be the new members of the Nitish Cabinet. The post of Water Resources Minister has fallen vacant after resignation of Rajiv Ranjan Singh aliais Lallan Singh following his election to Lok Sabha from Munger parliamentary constituency in the General Elections. Two other ministers : Dinesh Chandra Yadav and Pashupati Kumar Paras, have also resigned following their election to the Lok Sabha.
