Patna : On the 114th birth anniversary of  Jayaprakash Narain, Bihar  CM Nitish Kumar claimed he is following the ideals of JP and acting on total revolution. The CM visited the JP memorial on Bailey Road near Income Tax circle and garlanded the statue of JP. Speaker of Bihar assembly Vijay Kumar Chaudhury was also present at the state government organised programme.

The CM later went to Mahila Charkha Samiti at Kadamkuan, where JP lived, worked and died, and paid floral tributes to the Socialist leader who led movement against corruption in Congress regime.Nitish also went to Gandhi Maidan and saw the arrangements made for Dussehra festival. DGP P K Thakur and other senior officers were present.
Union minister Ananth Kumar, who reached here on Tuesday morning, also paid tributes to JP at Charkha Samiti. Former deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Prem Kumar, senior party MLA Nand Kishore Yadav also accompanied the union minister.
