Dussehra concludes, Nitish performs Aarti of Ram, Laxman

Patna: The ten days Durga puja festival came to an end on Tuesday with the immersion of idols of Durga into the rivers and ponds. At different places in the state, effigies of demon king Ravan  was burnt. At Patna, the main function was held at Gandhi Maidan where CM Nitish Kumar was the chief guest. Speak of Bihar assembly Vijay Kumar Chaudhury was also present. Nitish performed “aarti” of Ram and Laxman, who later burnt the effigies of Ravan, Meghnath and Kumbhkaran .The CM was present at the function till the event concluded. Thousands of people witnessed the annual ceremony marking end of the Dussehra festival.
