Ara : Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on December 27, 2019, inaugurated and supervised several programmes under his dream project ‘ Jal Jeevan Hariyali (Water, Life and Greenery’ at village Bhedari in Ichari panchayat under Gadhani block of Bhojpur district. The CM inaugurated Poly House, four units of plantations, and six ponds and also supervised several development works going on there.

Bhojpur district administration had made elaborate security arrangement and also decorated Bhedari village for the visit of the Chief Minister. About 8km long road from Sahangi Mor to Bhedari was constructed and six ponds were beautified. A Cowshed was constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.16 lakh while a Soak Pit was made at estimated cost of Rs 17,800. Ssolar lights will be installed and lavatories will also be constructed at Bhedari village. At least 25 stalls of Agriculture, Atma, soil testing, Gardening, Banking, Jeevika, Mukhya Mantri Awas Yojana, Clean India Mission, Drain and water to each house, Social Welfare department, Pension, Khadi, education, art and culture were installed at the village on the occasion.

The Chief Minister inaugurated a Poly House, Fisheries, gardening and also supervised them. He said that Bhedari village has become a role model of ‘Jal Jeevan Hariyali’. The Poly house was made on the pattern of a Poly house in Bengaluru and a sexagenarian housewife Kanti Kiran of Bhedari village made it. It attracted the district officials so much that they insisted the CM to visit Bhedari village instead of Jitaura where his visit was scheduled on the day but cancelled later on.

Kanti Kiran said that she had visited a Poly house in Bengaluru and decided to make a Poly house at her village and at last her dream became a reality. She said that she got a pond dug here and started fishery and added that the fish are supplied to Sasaram in Rohtas district from here and thus she earns from it too. She also said that flowers of this Poly house are supplied to Patna.
