Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Sunday asked the officials of different departments and railways to speed up preparations for the  comfort of the visiting devotees to Harmandir Saheb for the 350th birth anniversary (Prakash Parva) of Guru Govind Singh.
Accompanied by Chief Secretary, DGP, principal secretaries of different departments, the CM reached the Gurudwara early Sunday morning and visited different places related to Guru Govind Singh including main Gurudwara, Gurudwara Balleela, Kangan Ghat and Patna Saheb railway stations. He went to different lanes and bylanes in Patna City and asked the officials to remove hanging electric wires, and make the lanes and bylanes pucca. He inquired about the preparations at Patna Saheb station with the officials of Railways and directed them to lay down the tracks leading to proposed Kangan Ghat without delay.
The CM took interest in minute details  about the arrangements made for the visiting devotees and asked the temple authorities to create more  shoe stands. He went to the Patna bypass and asked the officials to solve the problem of waterlogging on the road leading to Patna Bypass from Gurugovind Singh Path.
