Muzaffarpr : Hot oil was thrown on a girl, an Intermediate student, and her mother in Gudri locality of Muzaffarpur on October 22 evening allegedly by one Shankar Mahto and his wife. Both of them were rushed to Muzaffarpur Sadar hospital for treatment. Police have lodged an FIR in this connection and are probing the incident, which has shocked the residents of Muzaffarpur town.
The accused, according to the FIR, first threw hot oil on the girl near her house in Gudri locality when she was returning home from her college. When the girl started screaming and shouting for help, her mother rushed to rescue her but the accused threw hot oil on her as well allegedly to kill both of them, according to the FIR.
