New Delhi: Chairperson, NHRC,  Justice H L Dattu on January 24, 2017, said that the most enriching experience in life would be to wipe tears of those whose rights have been violated.  He was addressing the valedictory session of the month long 16th Winter Internship programme of the Commission.

Congratulating the interns on the successful completion of their internship, Justice Dattu said that the real fruit of their exposures to various aspects of human rights and related laws would be when they would take up the issues of human rights violations of others in the far flung areas of the country either with the State Human Rights Commissions or National Human Rights Commission.  They should spread awareness about human rights and do something for society by wiping tears of those whose rights have been violated.
