Patna : New Zealand beat Pakistan by 183 runs in the 3rd ODI at University Oval, Dunedin, New Zealand, on January 13, 2018. Replying to New Zealand total of 257 in 50 overs, Pakistan  were all out for 74 in only 27.2 overs with Trent Boult taking 5/15 in 7.2 overs, L Ferguson 2/ 28 and Colin  2/10. Boult was declared Player of the Match. New Zealand are now 3-0 in the five-match ODI series.

Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss, New Zealand made 257 riding on Captain Kane Williamson’s brilliant 73 in 101 hitting 7 fours and former Captain Toss Taylor’s 52 in 64 balls hitting 4 fours. Opener Martin Guptil made 45 in 62 balls hiiting 4 fours and a six while his partner Coling Munro was out for 8 hitting a six. Tom Latham made 35 in 35 balls. For Pakistan, R Raees took 3/51, Jasan Ali 3/59, S Khan 2/51 andd F Ashraf 1/29. New Zealand opener Martin Guptil was run out.
