New Delhi: New Delhi, Jammu, Udhampur in addition to Kashmir Valley were on the target of Bahadur Ali, a Pakistani terrorists from Raiwind who was caught on July 25  by Kalamabad police station in Kupwara district,National Investiation Agency (NIA) claimed on Wednesday.

Bahadur Ali was sent to India through LOC in Kupwara district with the help of Pakistani security forces, according to a confessional statement made by Bahadur Ali before the NIA. He was one of the five LET terrorists sent to India during Bakrid to trigger violence in Kashmir in the wake of Burhan Wani killing by security forces in Anantnag district, said Sanjeev Kumar Singh, IG, NIA quoting the statement of Bahadur Ali.

The Pakistani terrorist in custody with the NIA told the investigating agency he was trained at Muzaffarbad by LET and was trained in use of sophisticated weapons.He carried a Japan made wireless set through which SMS could be sent even without SIM card, GPS equipment, maps of Indian cities, AK 47 and grenades.He was instructed by Pakistani security forces to mingle among the locals, lob hand greandes on the Indian forces, join protest marches in the Valley and create disturbances among the civilians to attract retaliatory measures by Indian forces, Singh said quoting Bahadur Ali’s statement.

Bahadur Ali’s statement confirmed direct involvement of Pakistani agencies in fomenting trouble in Kashmir.Four others who had infiltrated on July 25 were killed the next day as the Army acted on the statement of Bahadur Ali who was taken into custody a day earlier and he revealed the movement of four other terrorists of LET.  Bahadur Ali was getting instructions through I com (latest wireless communication system) from ALFA, a control room of Pakistani forces on the mountains on LOC. Control room was set up at tactical positions, according to Bahadur Ali’s statement given to NIA.
