Saharsa : A Nepali woman Puja Pokhrail, who on February 15, 2017, eloped with her lover Sonu Sah of village Lahuwar under Mahishi police station in Saharsa district leaving behind her two kids and husband Hari Prasad Pokhrail, told cops at Sadar police station, Saharsa, on April 11, 2017, that she would stay with Sonu. She refused to return to her husband Hari Prasad Pokhrail and said her two kids would stay with their father. Hari Prasad had lodged a missing report with Sadar police station after Puja disappeared on February 15.
Hari Prasad also refused to accept her saying she had betrayed him and her two kids. Police would now produce both Puja and Sonu Sah before a Saharsa court on April 12 to record their statement. Puja fell in love with Sonu Sah, son of Ganga Sah, through Facebook when she was staying at Soma Dipalya under Bhaluphan police station in Nepal with her two kids. Hari Prasad has been working at Saina Guest House, Chandini Chowk, Saharsa, for the last two years and was living alone. After falling in love with Sone, she reached Saharsa with kids and was staying with her husband at Saina Guest House. She lived with him for 15 days and on February 15 eloped with Sonu.
Since Hari Prasad was frequently visiting the Sadar police station to get information about his missing wife, the IO of the case Awadhesh Ram started putting pressure on Sonu Sah’s parents after which Sonu reached Darbhanga with Puja on April 10, 2017. On April 11, they reached Sadar police station, Saharsa.
