Patna : A 19-members delegation of NDA led by leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Prem Kumar met Governor Ram Nath Kovind and submitted a memorandum seeking his intervention in the affairs of Bihar assemebly where ruling party members allegedly misbehaved with opposition BJP MLAs.
Prem Kumar alleged in the last three days, members of the treasury bench were not allowing the opposition members to speak. He said two days back, a woman MLA of ruling party abused and misbehaved with a woman member of the BJP. Ruling party members, Prem Kumar alleged, hurled abuses on PM Narendra Modi.
Former chief minister Jeetan Ram Manjhi, chief whip of BJP Arun Kumar Sinha, Bankipore MLA Nitin Nawin were also in the delegation. Proceedings of Bihar assembly were adjourned twice due to disturbances in the House over these issues.
