Patna: Armed members of a banned naxal outfit late on Friday night set ablaze two motorcycles belonging to two munshi Jagnarayan Singh and Rakesh Singh of a private construction company near village Chalidohar under Madanpur police station (PS) in Aurangabad district. The naxals also thrashed them. Both the munshis were engaged in construction works at Chalidohgar Government School.

About 40 naxals led by Nawal ji and Ramprasad ji reached the construction site and set ablaze two bikes and thrashed the two munshi. The naxals also left behind pamphlets warning special police officers engaged in anti-naxal operations either to surrender before them or face punishment in kangaroo courts being held by them. They also warned those working as spy of local police not to pass information about their movement else they would be gunned down. The two employees of the construction company said that the naxals have threatened them to stop the construction works or face consequences.

On getting information, Madanpur PS SHO S K Singh rushed the spot. He admitted that both the managers were roughed up by the naxals. He assured them of all possible security to those engaged in construction works at the site.
