Nawada: The 12 year old son of district bureau chief of a national Hindi daily, who went missing on Monday afternoon, is yet to be recovered by police. Nawada SP Vikas Burman said a special team has been constituted to recover the boy. The Nawada based journalists, both from the print as well as the electronic media, have voiced their deep concern over the non-recovery of the child.

According to Sanjay Kumar Suman, the district bureau chief of  ‘Rashtriya Sahara’ and father of Shyam Suman alias Kishan,  a class VI student,his son left home on his cycle on Monday afternoon when his parents were away and remains traceless ever since. The boy is a bright student and had recently fared well at his school examination.

It may be mentioned here that 18 year old Gulshan Kumar, who reportedly went missing from Warisaliganj in Nawada district on July 27, 2016, was recovered dead from a roadside ditch with his body stuffed in a sack at Araut village under Nalanda district’s Bena police station, 45 km away from Nawada. Again, in July,  10 year old son of a panchayat sarpanch of Nawadih panchayat under Rupoh police station was kidnapped but luckily recovered two days after the abduction. The SP added that all efforts are being made to recover Kishan.
