New Delhi : The National Testing Agency on June 5, 2019, declared the result of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2019. Nalin Khandelwal, Rajasthan, has topped the list of candidates cracking the examination securing 701 marks while Bhavik Bansal, Delhi, has stood second with 700 marks.Akshat Kaushik, Uttar Pradesh, has secured 3rd position securing 700 marks while Swastik Bhatia, Haryana, stood 4th securing 696 marks.
Anant Jain, Uttar Pradesh, is 5th with 695 marks while Bhat Sarthak Raghvendra, Maharashtra, is 6th with 695 marks. Madhuri Reddy G, Telangana, has secured 7th position with 695 marks. She is topper among the girls. Dhruv Kushwaha, UP, is 8th with 695 marks while Mihir Rai, Delhi, is 9th with 695 marks. Raghav Dubey, Madhya Pradesh, is 10th with 691 marks.
The NTA conducted National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2019 throughout the country on May 5, 2019, and on May 20, 2019 for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.
An All India merit list has been prepared in percentile determined on the basis of highest marks secured at the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to MBBS/BDS courses as per Para V (II), Chapter II of Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued under Medical Council of India Act & Dental Council of India Act, according to a PIB release.
From Bihar, 76,536 candidates had appeared at the exam of which 44,092 ( 57.61 %) qualified. From Jharkhand, 16,934 candidates appeared at the exam of which 10,297 (60.81 %) qualified. Saatvik Lodha, Jharkhand, has secured 20th place securing 690 marks while Gautam Kumar, Jharkhand, is 32nd with 687 marks.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, will conduct the Counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats, Deemed Universities, Central Universities, Seats of ESIC and AFMC, BHU & AMU. Candidates may visit website www.mcc.nic.in for further information. Candidates will apply for 15% All India Quota seats as per the directions of DGHS and Counselling will be stopped once the seats are exhausted.
For State quota and other seats falling under the ambit of States, candidates may apply to their domicile states and merit list as per State rules and based on All India Rank will be prepared by the Counselling Authorities concerned. The counselling for Private Medical Colleges will also be conducted by the State Counselling Authority concerned.
The Result of NEET-UG, 2019 has been declared on the basis of the qualifying criteria prescribed by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India and also based on the information submitted by the candidates in their online application forms.
