Patna : World No 174 Sumit Nagal, 22, India, defeated World No 343 Ivan Nedelko, 33, Russia, to enter the 2nd round of ATP Challenger at Banja Luka in Bosnia & Herzegovina, on September 11, 2019. Sixth seed Nagal beat Nedelko 6-3, 7-6 in first round. He will face World No 704 Matija Pecotic, 30, Croatia, in 2nd round on September 12, 2019.
But, World No 258 Saketh Myneni, 31, India, lost to World No 290 Shuichi Sekiguchi, 28, Japan, in three-sets 6-4, 3-6, 6-7 in the 2nd round of ATP Shanghai Challenger in China on September 11.
