Patna: BJP National President JP Nadda urged people to rise above caste and religious lines and vote for development in Bihar Assembly polls. He was addressing his first election meeting in Bihar at Gaya’s Gandhi Maidan on October 11, 2020. Several prominent leaders including JD(U) MP RCP Singh and HAM (S) National President and former Bihar CM Jeetan Ram Manjhi were also present on dais on occasion.
Nadda, in his speech, made scathing attack on opposition though he did not name anybody. He also counted achievements of Union
and state government giving vivid details of the their respective achievements. He recalled that before 2005, people dared not
move on Patna’s Dakbunglow roundabout after 6 pm. He further stated that the doctors in state were not sure whether they would meet their family members after they ventured out of their houses. Traders were fleeing the state due to terror, he pointed out.
The BJP leader said that Bihar is witnessing series of development now-a- days. He said that PM Narendra Modi has freed farmers and they would not have to run to patwaris for getting papers of their lands. Nadda said that Modi has changed election’s culture.
He said that Bihar government has done great job in the field of construction of roads, education, health and power. Besides this, Modi government has given separate package of Rs 40,000 crore for development of infrastructure to Bihar, he pointed out.
Nadda was all praise for Bihar CM Nitish Kumar saying he had done commendable job in providing financial assistance to those stuck outside Bihar during lockdown.
