Ara: The NAAC team will inspect Mahant Mahadevanand Mahila Mahavidyalay (MMMM), Ara, from August 29 to August 31 and if the college gets NAAC accreditation, it will be the second constituent college under Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU) after Mahila College, Dalmianagar, which was given B grade.

The VKSU, Ara, has 17 constituent colleges of which only one college has so far been accredited with the NAAC though six other colleges have submitted the SSR to the university office and the NAAC is expected to visit these colleges in December 2016.

VKSU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Leela Chand Sah has been informed about the preparation made by the college for NAAC inspection through the slide presentation by the MMMM administration. The VC asked the college authorities to remove some shortcomings in the infrastructure within two days. The VC said that importance of NAAC accreditation is well known to all the college administration as no grant from the UGC or RUSA will be given to the colleges without NAAC accreditation.
