Bagaha :  A social activist and co-ordinator of an NGO Shweta Kiran, 35, a  resident of Masan colony, Narainapur, under Ramnagar police station in West Champran district was stfound dead under mysterious circumstances at her house on December 15.

Ramnagar police station SHO Vinay Kumar Mishra said that prima facie it was a case of suicide and a case unnatural death had been lodged with the police. Her brother Munna Mishra said that she was living alone there and suffering from heart disease and might have died due to cardiac attack. But, local sources said that she did not have good relation with her parents.

Sub-divisional government hospital, Bagaha. deputy superintendent Dr Ashok Tiwari said that it did not appear to be a case of suicide or death due to cardiac attack as there were some injury marks on the body. The cause of death will be  clear once the viscera report comes, he said.

SP, Bagaha, Shankar Jha said on Friday that it was  a high  profile case hence the investigating officer of the case has been directed to investigate the case meticulously because she was coordinator of an NGO had link with some high profile people of the area.
