Muzaffarpur will soon get a Central University

Muzaffarpur : Decks have been cleared for the establishment of a Central University under Sakra block in Muzaffarpur district. Giving this information, Muzaffarpur DM Dharmendra Singh said that the benefit of education is now reaching the remote parts of the district and on the directive of the central government and as per the policy of state government Central University, Navodaya Vidyalaya and Residential Girls School will be opened soon under different blocks of the district.

DM Singh said that a Residential Girls School will be established under Mushhari block while another Jawahar Navodaya is being opened under Meenapur block and land for the same had already been acquired. As of now, Muzaffarpur only has a Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV). The DM said that a police station building will soon be constructed on the campus of Sri Krishna Medical College Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, and also at Devaria.
