Muzaffarpur DM orders for speedy trial of 77 liquor mafias

Muzaffarpur : Muzaffarpur District Administration, on the directive of DM Dharmendra Singh, has initiated measures for the speedy trial of 77 arrested liquor mafias. The Excise & Prohibition Department has sent a list of 77 liquor mafias to the Special Public Prosecutor, Muzaffarpur, in this connection.

DM Dharmendra Singh has also recommended for dismissal from service of  Circle Inspector of Musahari Block cum Bandra Procurement Incharge Amarnath Rai for alleged irregularities worth Rs 21 lakh in paddy procurement. The DM has sent his recommendation to the department concerned.
