Saharsa : Close on the heels of arrest of arrest of wife of Saharsa Dentist Dr Kishore Kumar Bhaskar in connection with latter’s sensational murder in his car at Saharsa on March 19, 2019, police arrested a woman Shahjehan Khatoon with her lover in connection with murder her husband Mohd Tashir Alam at village Qasimpurtolwa under Banama Police Outpost (OP) under Simri Bakhtiarpur police station in Saharsa district on March 30, 2019, night. Mohd. Tashir Alam was stabbed to death when he was sleeping in his room with his wife and three kids.
Saharsa police cracked the case of murder of Mohd Tashir Alam due to contradictory statements given by Shahjehan Khatoon and her 12 year old son. Shahjehan Khatoon had told police said that her husband was watching some match on his mobile phone after playing with his children while she went to bed telling him to close the door. She said that she suddenly woke up in late night and found her husband seriously injured and in a pool of blood after which she raised an alarm and people rushed him to Sub-Divisional Hospital, Simri Bkhatiarpur, where the doctors declared him brought dead. But, her son told police that he had seen two persons stabbing his father.
SDPO, Simri Bakhtiarpur, Mridula Kumari, said that Shajehan Khatoon had spiked the milk of her husband Mohd Tashir Alam and when he was sleeping her lover Mohd Shafiq, a neighbour and relative, and one more person stabbed him to death. Police have recovered the knife used for stabbing Mohd Tashir Alam. Police also recovered bloodstained clothes from the house of Mohd Shafiq after which police arrested him and Shahjehan Khatoon.
Mohd Tashir Alam earlier worked as a shuttering contractor at Kanpur, UP, and had returned to his village 45 days back and had started working in the same capacity at village level. But, his presence at the village was not to the liking of Shahjehan Khatoon and her lover Mohd Shafiq, who allegedly hatched a conspiracy to kill him to remove him from their way.
