Motihari : The cold blooded murder of egg trader Anish Alam, 45, at his shop at Minabazaar in Motihari Town, on December 18, 2020, late night, has created sensation in the town. Some unidentified persons slit Anis Alam’s throat with a sharpedged weapon at his shop to kill him. His body was recovered by police and sent for post-mortem to Motihari Sadar Hospital.
East Champaran SP Navin Chandra Jha visited the spot and directed police to investigate the case and arrest the criminals at the earliest. SHO, Town Police Station, Gauri Kumari, said police were investigating into the incident. According to police, the deceased was living with his wife at his in-laws’ place in Mathiya locality in Motihari
town for some time.
Anish Alam was native of Sheohar District in North Bihar and was running his business at Minabazaar. His cold blooded murder has triggered tension at Minabazaar and the traders of the market are demanding immediate arrest of the assailants.
