Munger: All the courtrooms of judicial magistrates and judges presented a deserted look on Tuesday as the lawyers of Munger bar abstained from judicial works. The judicial officers remained in the chambers as no lawyer turned up there.The decision to keep away from judicial work of the court was taken by the general body of Munger Bar Association at its urgent meeting chaired by Upendra Prasad Yadav on Monday to protest closure of all the doors of the civil court campus leaving only one door for entry and exit.

The gates have been locked by the district administration after some violent incidents at took place at Muzafferpur and Chhapra courts recently. Sharangdhar Prasad, convenor of the adhoc committee of the Munger bar association, said that the boycot of judicial works would continue till the gates were opened adding that lawyers were facing problem in moving on the court campus as all the other three gates had been locked.
