Patna : Mumbai were 157/7 in 58 overs at stumps on day 4 of their Ranji Trophy match against Gujarat at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, on November 30, 2018, with first innings centurion and all- rounder Shivam Dubey, 25, batting on 40 in 89 balls with 3 fours and a six and all-rounder Dhurmil Matkar, 22, who had scored 47 in the first innings, batting on 12. Mumbai lead by 173 runs.

Mumbai had lost their first six wickets for 66 only but wicketkeeper Aditya Tare, who was out without scoring in the first innings, and Shivan  added 58 runs for the 7th wicket. Tare scored 59 in 114 balls with 8 fours and a six. Dubey has so far added 33 runs with Matkar for the 8th wicket. Siddhesh Lad, who had scored 62 in first inninhgs, was out for 17 while Suryakumar Yadav scored just 1. Armaan Jaffer made 5 while opener Akhil Herwadkar made 10.

Earlier, Gujarat were all out for 281 in their first innings with wicketkeeper Dhruv Raval scoring 99 with 14 fours and 2 sixes, Rujul Bhatt 41, and Manpreet Juneja 37. Mumbai took a first innings lead of 16 runs.

In all, 17 wickets fell on the third day of the match.
