Patna : The Magadh University (MU) colleges located at Patna have started the process for admitting students to Intermediate courses for academic session 2016-2017 beginning in July 2016 . They have worked out details for sale and submission of forms at the respective college offices.
A N College geared up admitting students to Intermediate in Science and Arts streams. Merit will be the sole criterion for admitting students to these courses. Admission forms can be obtained from the college counters and students can submit the forms till June 15. The college has fixed Rs 150 as price for each admission form . There are 640 seats in Arts and 1,192 seats in Science stream, said college principal Bihari Singh .
J D Women’s College has also started the process for admission to Intermediate courses. Admission forms are available at the college counters on payment of Rs 300 each form and students can submit forms till June 21. There are 640 seats each in Science and Arts streams at Intermediate level in the college, said college principal Subhas Prasad Sinha adding being a girls’ college, it would have to admit students at zero balance as per the government decision to admit girl students without charging any fee.
College of Commerce , Arts and Science has also taken steps for the sale of admission forms at college counters . It has made special arrangement to ensure availability of admission forms on the college campus from the first week of June, said college principal Baban Singh adding college will admit students in Arts, Science and Commerce streams.
B D College has also started selling admission forms for Intermediate courses. Admission forms will be accepted at the college counters till June 10. The forms are available at a cost of Rs 200 for each at ollege office counters.These admissions will be made on merit to Science , Commerce and Arts streams, said college principal P K Verma adding the government has allotted 640 seats each in Science , Arts and Commerce streams to the college.
T P S College has also initiated admission process to Intermediate courses. Admission forms are available at a cost of Rs 150 each. The college will accept admission forms till June 10 from students for Science and Arts streams . The college has been given permission by the university to start Commerce stream at the college but the Raj Bhawan has not given its approval for the commerce teaching, said college principal Tapan Sandaliya.
Arvind Mahila College too has started admission process to Intermediate Science, Arts and Commerce streams . Forms are available at the college counters and admission will be considered on merit only, said a senior teacher of the college .
