Mother of three kids murdered in Bagaha, husband and his brother arrested

Bagaha : Aarti Devi, 28, a  mother of three children, of Chiutaha Purani bazar under Chiutaha police station was brutally killed on March 13, 2017, morning allegedly by her husband Amod Jaiswal and in-laws. Police arrested Amod Jaiswal and his elder brother Ashok Jaiswal in this connection and sent them to Bagaha sub- jail in West Champaran district on March 14.

Sources said that Aarti Devi was killed by her in- laws on March 13 by gagging her mouth and for removing evidence her body was being burnt by her in laws. Meanwhile, police was informed by deceased father Jawahar Jaiswal of Tharu tola Bherihari under Valmikinagar police station. Police reached the scene, recovered half burnt body and arrested Amod Jaiswal and his elder brother Jaisawal.

Chiutaha police station SHO Munna Kumar Gupta said that deceased’s father Jawahar Jaiswal has lodged a case with Chiutaha police in this connection making seven persons named accused. The other five accused including Aarti’s  mother- in-law Dharmshila Devi are still at large. Family feud is said to be reason behind the murder, said police sources.
