Mother of 3 children commits suicide at Bhojpur Village

Ara : A woman, mother of three children, committed suicide by consuming poison at Kusumha Tola under Dhangai police station in Bhojpur district on February 24, 2020.

Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Heera Muni Devi, wife of Shiv Shankar Bind of Kusumha Tola village. An FIR has been lodged with Dhangai police station in this regard and police are investigating the matter. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.

SHO, Dhangai police station, said that Heera Muni Devi had three minor children with her husband Shiv Shankar Bind but she was allegedly in love with a youth of the village Mulayam. Her husband always protested her extra-marital relation. Meanwhile, Mulayam and Heera Muni Devi decided to consume poison together. Heera Muni Devi stuck to the promise but Mulayam deceived her at the eleventh hour and escaped from the scene leaving Heera Muni Devi behind to die all alone.
